Sometimes there are things a girl can’t live without and should share with other girls… These are a few of my favorite things of the moment.
This week a strong young woman stood up for folks everywhere as she decided that she would no longer “photography ugly people.” It takes one brave girl to post such an awesome rock star quality of a blog post and she has been heard far and wide. I mean… really, who wants to photograph someone who is so ugly (read:: mean) to other folks. Yep, you read that right. Jen (I like your name Jen!!!) stood up for people far and wide who have been bullied by pulling out of some booked sessions because she found out that they were participating in cyber-bullying. Gutsy move, but one that I applaud. More people should stand up for others – just like Jen did. :) (To read Jen’s blog post just click on the picture below.)
My latest and greatest new shopping habit? Having my Pinterest “Fashion” board up while I’m shopping. It makes it tons easier to find key pieces for the season and how to scout them out when you are at the mall. F’reals!
My next obsession is Merle Norman’s Lasting Cream Eyeshadow. It seriously lasts… even through Saturday’s 8 am session, through my afternoon nap, up until date night. Loves it!!!! The color I have:: Ivory.
Apple, how do I love thee… Let me count the ways… I got my iPhone for my birthday (thanks honey!!!) and it has seriously changed my life. I wasn’t sure that I would like the white, but if you know me, then you know I like simple and clean. Doesn’t get cleaner than white!
The only downfall is my 3 year old also likes my iPhone, so if I miss an email, text, or phone call it’s probably because he has it or deleted it. Sorry!!!
Since falling in love with my iPhone, I have been ogling the iPad 2. It is on my wish list, and I’m currently saving up for this bad boy. :D Oh.. I also want it in white to match my phone.
Okay.. Since we are on the wish list of favorites I have to mention how I’m quickly becoming obsessed with getting a Holga camera. These also come in different colors and white is topping the list quickly. Ha!!! BUT I also love the lilac, soft pink, and yellow ones, too. There are a couple of weddings left this year that I think would be perfect for a few Holga film snapshots. ***Swoon***
