I Heart You :: Jennifer Brown Photography

Many of my close friends and family may know where my son, Wade, got his name.  When my great-grandmother (we called her Granny) was alive, she would tell me stories of her oldest child, Wade, who passed away in her arms from a heart attack when he was only three years old.  I think my favorite story is the one where she found him preaching God’s Word just like her pastor at the time would do.  I think this memory of her child is one that comforted her the most.  He knew and believed, and that was the most important thing to her.  There is only one photo of Wade that I know of, and it always hung on her wall in the living room.  Talk about one priceless photo.  While I, of course, never met Wade, I wanted to honor my Granny by naming my first child after her first child.  I whole-heartedly believe that she would adore my Wade, and would be ecstatic that I would name him after her son.

In honor of my great uncle, Wade, I will be holding 10 mini sessions at the Gristmill in Norris to raise money for Saving Little Hearts on Saturday, October 2nd from 8-12 noon!  The mini session is free with a donation made to Saving Little Hearts on the day of the session. One spot is already filled, so there are nine left.  This is a perfect way to get a family or couples session in for those holiday cards!

How do you schedule your session? Email me at jennifer@jennbrownphoto.com to get a spot.

How long will the session last? Your session will last 20 minutes.  This will be a strict schedule so I can make sure to fit everyone in.

What happens after your session? I will edit your mini session and post to an online gallery.  I will get a working email from each family in order to send you an email letting you know that your session is ready to view and your case-sensitive password.  Half of all proceeds from purchases will be donated to Saving Little Hearts.  Your gallery will only be available for viewing and making purchases for two weeks.  They will not be available after that time.

To New Beginnings

Thought of the day:

Every morning brings a new day.  It’s a new beginning and you have the power to decide how you want to spend that day, because you’ll never get it back.  How awesome is that?!

I’m so thankful for my little family, our love for each other, our health, and so much more thankful for what God has provided for us.  I’m also very thankful for this fresh, new morning and all of the opportunities that it allows me.  Now, if we could only get some rain!;)

Here is a little sneak of a session I did yesterday morning.  Aren’t they gorgeous?!  :)

Don’t forget to sign up for your spot for the I Heart You event that will be held October 2nd.  Spots are already filling up.  AND there are just two days left to enter your creative idea for a free full session.  We’ve received some really cute ideas!
